Inauguration Day of the Donald Trump — World’s Powerful Leader

Donald Trump is ready to commence his second term as the president of the United States. A traditional inauguration ceremony, marking the peaceful transfer of power, will take place at the U.S. Capitol. Chief Justice John Roberts of the U.S. Supreme Court will administer the oath of office at 12 p.m. ET (1700 GMT). The National Mall expects a large crowd to watch the event on giant screens. We expect world leaders or their representatives to attend the ceremony live. Trump is likely to deliver a unifying and optimistic inaugural address.

The Parade to the White House

A traditional parade featuring military units, marching bands, floats, as well as various citizen groups will accompany the president to the White House. The new president and his guests will watch the remainder of the parade from a special reviewing stand.

Funding for the Event

The inaugural committee arranges the inauguration festivities. Major CEOs from the corporate world, such as real estate developers, Amazon, Meta, Apple, and OpenAI, fund the celebration. Private donations will cover the total cost of the inauguration, except for the taxpayer-funded swearing-in ceremony.

In 2017, Donald Trump’s inauguration raised a record $106.7 million for the events.

A Campaign Rally the Day Before

On January 19, Donald Trump will hold a “Make America Great Again Victory Rally” in downtown Washington. This pre-inauguration event is expected to draw thousands of his supporters and is likely to set the tone for the following day’s celebrations. Trump will hold his first rally in Washington since the January 6, 2021, events, when his supporters stormed the Capitol in an attempt to disrupt the certification of the 2020 election results.

The First Day in the Office

On his first day, Donald Trump has vowed to sign a series of executive orders aimed at reversing many of the policies implemented by the Biden administration. He will take steps to strengthen immigration enforcement and energy production. He is determined to deploy more military troops to the Mexico border, and resume construction of the border wall. Additionally, we expect him to issue the first round of pardons for individuals convicted in connection with the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021.

Trump is returning to the White House for a second term. Overall, Inauguration Day 2025 promises to be a blend of tradition and spectacle.
