Devastating Wildfire and its Progression in California

The raging wildfire erupted on Tuesday in Pacific Palisades and surged threefold in the matter of hours, burning around 17,000 acres between Malibu and Santa Monica. The fire affected the mix of urban and wildland. It was one of the deadliest blazes, razing entire buildings to rubble.

However, the destruction did not stop here. Multiple fires flared up in different regions of Los Angeles County, including Eaton, Hurst, and Lidia, invading legendary Hollywood Hills. The wildfire has affected urban and residential areas, posing damage to buildings and businesses and forcing people to emergency evacuation. It even destroyed some of the iconic landmarks, including the Hollywood sign. The firefighting efforts are going strong. Helicopters and air tankers are also assisting the ground crew in preventing the fire from spreading further.
