As we have created the Google account previously hence we will start the process from the Google Tag Manager account creation. If you are starting from zero and do not have any Google account, then please follow How to Setup Google Analytics Account from Step 1 to Step 6.
As we have previously created the Google account using our email address, hence we will login here by entering email & password.
Please click on Create Account to proceed next.
At this point, Google will ask you to select what exactly you are trying to track? e.g. Website, iOS App, Android App or AMP. Here, we are covering only the Website tracking for now and will cover the other tracking options in my upcoming blogs.
I am attaching the screenshot with filled information to give you an idea how to fill this form.
On the next screen, please select I Accept checkbox at the bottom of the page and click on the Yes button in the top right corner.
Finally, Google will give you the tracking code which you need to implement on your website.
You have successfully created your Google Tag Manager account and your code is ready to be implemented on your website.
